Owner / Director

Mark is a local Njamal man born in Port Hedland and raised on the land at Indee Station. Mark has strong traditional and cultural  ties to the Pilbara and is a well-respected member of the Njamal community.
Mark is a highly creative, energetic, customer-focused professional with over 18 years’ experience in the Mining Industry. Mark is a Boilermaker/Fitter by trade and has had extensive experience as a shutdown fitter/rigger/supervisor during his  time with Rio Tinto at their Parker Point Operations. Before establishing Cobbalana Resources Pty Ltd, in recent years Mark has been working for Woodside within the Oil and Gas Industry as an Operations Technician at the Karratha Gas Plant. His cross-functional disciplines give him an excellent understanding of the various industry requirements and also shows his passion for learning and exploring new opportunities. Mark is very passionate about developing opportunities for local indigenous people and hopes to deliver bene ts for local communities for what we hope are many decades to come.
